Consultant

As a Consultant at FLOWSTATE, you work at the intersection of finance and technology. You support the advisory team on M&A, restructuring and Financial Performance mandates, build financial models and learn to analyze and communicate complex financial situations in a structured way. FLOWSTATE combines classic corporate finance advisory with a proprietary digital platform. You are part of both worlds from day one.

• Contribute to M&A, restructuring and Financial Performance projects for mid-market and large corporate and investor clients
• Build and maintain integrated financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO)
• Support financial due diligence, commercial analyses and market research
• Prepare decision papers, management presentations and data room materials
• Engage directly with clients and transaction parties under the guidance of experienced advisors
• Help shape our platform with structured feedback from day-to-day advisory work

• Strong university degree in business, economics, information systems, mathematics or a comparable field
• Initial hands-on experience through internships in M&A advisory, investment banking, audit or corporate finance
• Excellent Excel skills and initial experience with financial models
• Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and high quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
